Ingredients:
- 500g Imalsha Jumbo Prawns (Peeled and deveined, tails left on)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- Juice of half a lemon
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Pat the jumbo prawns completely dry with a paper towel and season them lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the prawns in the skillet in a single layer. Sear for exactly 2 minutes on one side until they start turning pink.
- Flip the prawns, reduce the heat to medium, and immediately add the remaining butter, minced garlic, and chili flakes.
- Cook for 1 to 2 more minutes, continuously spooning the melting garlic butter over the prawns.
- Remove from heat, squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the top, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
